HAPPY NEW YEAR...
we just got back home a little bit ago after a couple days spent with phyllis and jon in twinsburg ohio!!!! had alot of fun seeing them and sorry it was all to soon to end our visit. they arrived at the hotel about 7 ish new years eve and after they got settled in phyllis and i took off to damons for a take out dinner for all of us....OMG it was hilarious waiting for our dinners!!!! we each had a drink while waiting for the food...she had a glass of wine and i had a vodka tonic....holy moly!!!!! when that drink hit me i was wasted!!!! LOL i had to call rick and let him know that we would be back later than planned....he knew i was wasted...LOL he asked if they had to come get us...i said no i would be ok in a few minutes...but WOW!!! i was really plastered for several minutes!!! i haven't got like that in a long time....LOL after i was off that drunk high we gathered our bags of food and headed out to the car...cold fresh air hit and i was fine!!! this restaurant across the street was decorated so pretty with the blue led lights....got a picture of it on my cell phone. the name of the place is (oh crap!!!! CR****s me again and i can't think of the name now!!! GRRRR) maybe phylliss will se my post here and she will let you know what the name of it is. unless i think of it before....lol but it IS an expensive place to go eat for sure according to the bartender at damons. said dinner for two runs about $100.00 if not more. WOW!!! but it sure was pretty all in the blue lights!!!
talked to nancy h last night...was nice talking to her again!!! went swimming in the pool with rick and jon...phyllis held on to bandit because she didn't want to go in pool. bandit took her around the pool so many times its a wonder she didn't get dizzy!!! he wanted in the pool so bad but ****zu's sink they don't swim. (its what is in the ****zu book is all i know and didn't want to find out if it was true or not...) but he sure wanted in with me and daddy and uncle jon!!! LOL
having some nasty weather here and hopefully they didn't have it to bad to drive through on their way down south. some white out conditions at times....scarey enough for me and i know jon is a careful driver but still hope they made it out safe!! wish we had more time with them but all good things come to an end....we will see them again hopefully soon!!!!
went to the store for a few things we needed and i am making some vegie beef soup. its almost done now so have to take bandit out and them come back in and fill the bowls up and eat to get warmed up and maybe pop in a movie to watch. its 16 and wind chill is at 0 so it is BRRRRRRRRRRR out there!!!!! just hate going out there in this bone chilling weather!!!
the hearing for ricks daughter was thursday morning...she is still facing a felony but reduced charges...her bail was also lowered and she is out on bond now...she will have another trial soon and will spend more time in jail we assume. rick talked to her very seriously about the baby coming to live with us if his (baby's dad or his family) doesn't want him while she is locked up. she said she would really think about it hard. she also has to stay away from ALL that were involved in this mess and also has to move out of the area she lives in. not sure where she will go but our door is open to her and the baby. sighs....what a mess!!!
dr visit the other day for me is MRI is ordered for my spine see whats going on there...in the meantime i have some therapy to do. therapy starts tomorrow and the MRI is tuesday afternoon.
so on that note i am out of here for now. soup is done and bandit wants outside to potty....BRRRRRR
